Jade Vine Flowers Close-Up, Strongylodon macrobotrys

Close-up of a jade vine, Strongylodon macrobotrys, showing the distinctive claw-shaped flowers and buds along the raceme. The colour is an unusual natural teal, somewhere between turquoise and mint green. Photographed in diffused greenhouse light, which gives the petals a soft, silky quality. Strongylodon macrobotrys is native to the Philippines and is increasingly rare in the wild.
